Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Adjutant (the "Service"), a personal AI assistant available at adjutant.global and app.adjutant.global. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Adjutant helps you manage tasks, habits, goals, nutrition, documents, and communications. On your request, the assistant can place phone calls, send SMS and WhatsApp messages, search the web, and generate documents. Features may change over time.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
You register with a mobile phone number and verify it via a one-time code.
You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your phone number secure.

3. Messaging and calls

By entering your phone number and requesting a code, you consent to receive SMS such as one-time passcodes and account notifications. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
When you ask the assistant to call or message a third party, you confirm that you are authorized to contact that person or business and that doing so complies with applicable laws.
You must not use the Service to send spam, unlawful, deceptive, harassing, or otherwise prohibited content.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) violate any law or third-party rights; (b) attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service; (c) use the Service for fraud, unsolicited marketing, or abusive automated messaging; (d) upload malicious content. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Third-party services

The Service relies on providers including Twilio (SMS, voice, WhatsApp), OpenAI (AI processing and transcription), and hosting infrastructure. Your use may also be subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

6. AI-generated content

The assistant produces automated outputs (text, schedules, documents, call summaries) that may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing results before relying on them, especially for bookings, payments, travel, and other important actions.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding ("Adjutant"), is owned by us and protected by law. You retain ownership of content you create; you grant us a limited license to process it solely to provide the Service.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that outputs will be accurate.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Adjutant will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and request account deletion. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or to protect the Service and its users.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest version.
